1.57^2 (Here ^ means power of 57)
Answer:
Step 1: Do individual squares for 5 and 7 as
5^2=25 and
7^2=49
Step 2:Do the multiplication of 5*7=35
and multiply 35*2=70
Step 3:Here do as follows
append 25 and 49 as 2549 and add as follows

  +070 (We have to add 70 by leaving one place from right side)
